Daren Smith

Vice President, ASC Solutions
Daren Smith is the Director of ASC Solutions for Surgical Information Systems. In this role, Daren provides clinical support to the development team, leads facility-specific demonstrations for the Sales team, and facilitates presentations for the Marketing team. He serves as a product and industry subject matter expert, frequently speaking at industry events and contributing to industry publications such as Becker’s ASC Review and ASC Focus Magazine. Previously, Daren worked as the director of clinical services for Surgical Management Professionals (SMP), an ASC and surgical hospital management and development company. Daren has also held the position of director of outpatient services for Avera McKennan Hospital, administrator and CEO of Fremont Surgical Center, and nurse manager at Grand Island Surgery Center. He is a graduate of Clarkson College and the University of South Dakota.
