CASC certificants can earn the continuing credits they need while receiving expert guidance on top ASC issues
Surgical Information Systems (SIS) is an approved provider of administrator education units (AEUs) by the Board of Ambulatory Surgery Certification. This permits SIS to offer educational programs that enable ASC professionals pursuing or holding the Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) certification credential to earn the AEUs required to achieve or maintain their credential.
In 2024, SIS hosted several webinars that qualified for CASC AEU credits. Attendees of these live programs were able to earn their AEUs, but there's good news if you missed any of the webinars: AEUs can also be earned by viewing the on-demand programs up to three years after their original broadcast.
SIS webinars are hosted by ASC industry experts, so whether you participate in a program live or via the on-demand recording, you will come away not only with AEUs but also knowledge that will help you improve the performance of your surgery center.
Here are the 2024 SIS on-demand webinars that offer AEUs.
This webinar led by SIS' chief information security officer simulates a real-world cyberattack on an ASC. Live participants acted as part of an incident response team responsible for making critical decisions. Each decision was supported by explanations and feedback, ensuring participants — live or on-demand — come away with a deeper understanding of how to manage a cyberattack.
