Alpharetta, Georgia, February 6, 2024 - Surgical Information Systems ("SIS"), the industry leader for business and clinical surgical software for hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), announced it has been recognized as the No. 1 overall ASC Technology Vendor for the ninth consecutive year[1] in the Black Book™ 2024 report, Top User-Rated Technology Solutions Ambulatory Surgical Centers.

"SIS has been consistently ranked the premier ASC technology by all users including clinicians, physicians, nursing, support staff, and administrators. This validates SIS' focus and commitment to serve the comprehensive technology demands of ambulatory surgical centers," said Doug Brown, Managing Partner of Black Book Research.

This year's survey represented nearly 3,500 physicians, clinicians, and administrative staff and over 1,900 ASCs. To go along with its No. 1 ranking, SIS earned top honors in all four functional subsets:

  • Electronic Health Records
  • Analytics & Business Intelligence
  • Revenue Cycle Management
  • Interoperability & Communications
