New product functionality streamlines registry participation

November 28, 2016 – AmkaiSolutions, a trusted industry leader in delivering comprehensive solutions to ambulatory surgery centers, today announced that AmkaiSolutions now facilitates clients’ submission of data to the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR).

AJRR is a CMS-designated Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) that focuses on improving orthopaedic care through the collection of hip and knee replacement procedures and outcomes.

As procedure volumes shift from hospitals to ASCs, there has been an increase in the number and types of joint procedures being performed in ASCs. ASCs are looking to use benchmarking data to improve their delivery of high quality, cost-effective care. In response to this demand, AmkaiSolutions has streamlined the process for clients to submit benchmarking data to the AJRR.

"Amkai clients can now easily report total joint replacement data to AJRR and access comparative benchmarking data for patient risk intervention and patient success*. “This benchmarking data will assist ASCs in driving the emerging joint replacement business segment,” said Tom Stampiglia, President and CEO of AmkaiSolutions. “Our clients are now armed with better data to leverage payer contracts, accommodate more joint replacement procedures with greater efficiency, and attract surgeons to their practice.”
